2 September 2002: Trinity

So the current paratheatrical ritual lab is the Trinity Lab. The intent of the lab, as Sherpa describes it on the ParaTheatrical ReSearch website, is

to explore through paratheatrical rituals multiple sets of trinities, such as Savior-Persecutor-Victim; Positive-Negative-Neutral; Head-Heart-Gut, etc., to deepen personal experience of resonance and charge. Through this process of experimentation, we'll examine the possible existence of a "Core Trinity", as the three most essential sources currently animating your life, not as ideas, ideals or beliefs but as living energies and the existing conditions surrounding them. The purpose: to access this core trinity towards its expression in physical movement, vocal creations and ritual worship.

I’ve found my own Core Trinity: the Word, the Dance, and the Clasp. I’m happy with it. These are good things to have as the most essential sources currently animating my life.

I find myself thinking throughout the day of things to write in this journal. But when I sit down to write, I often find that I’m just too tired to say everything I want to say. Some people keep journals in order to process whatever it is that they’ve got to process. Writing is important to me, it’s something I love, but when I have a lot to process, sleep serves me far better. And between ritual lab, school, the new romance, and all the other recent and imminent changes in my life, I do indeed have a lot to process. So it’s off to an early bedtime for me. Sweet Dreams, dear unknown reader.
