11 December 2002: Skilled

New stuff in the Art Gallery, byproducts of school projects.  "Careful with the Earth" was from an assignment to design a postage stamp promoting environmental awareness.  First that "War Is Not the Answer" poster, now this... people are going to start thinking I'm some kind of goddamn liberal.

The "Careful with the Earth" poster child, by the way, is my nephew Russell, age almost-five.

"Ace of Disks" is one of my favorite pieces I've done so far.  It was part of the graphic for a larger design assignment, but I like it better on its own, as the first image of the tarot deck I'll create someday when I'm done with school.

Gemrise got back into town last night.  He's crashing with Taarna and Galahad right now, but sometime soon he'll migrate over here.  I had dinner last night at the Emery Bay Public Market with him, Taarna, Galahad, and Grace.  Grace is about nine months old now.  Her facial expressions are just like Taarna's.  She's become quite skilled at grabbing noses.

Argus took his brown belt test on Sunday.

This year has been good to me, although I was so busy that I forgot to take drugs.
