Dragon Lady found a job! Doing big grownup important helping things! Yay Dragon Lady! Yay smart clever University of California people who gave her the job! We went out last night and celebrated by eating mountains of sushi. Then we went to the Parkway to see one of the all-too-rare screenings of Sherpa's film Hysteria, the best artistic response to the World Trade Center bombing that anyone's produced (no, Dubya, making up fictional connections between Iraq and the WTC bombers doesn't quite count as an "artistic response" - now stop web-surfing and go fix the economy). Sherpa told me that the first boxes of Towards an Archeology of the Soul had arrived that afternoon; he'll give me my complementary copies when I go to his salon on Friday. Mostly, all is quiet. I'll probably be immersing myself in other creative projects for a while, and not writing much here unless something surprising happens, or unless I finish some project worth writing about.
